Chief Instructor Mark Gajdostik

Mark Gajdostik began his formal martial arts training in 1983 and has trained in (and is still a student of) several different martial arts.

Mr. Gajdostik began teaching under his first karate instructor Sensei Kinjo, and started his first school in Junior High; an after-school karate club.

A Black belt since 1989, Mr. Gajdostik co-founded Oregon Fighting Arts-Taekwondo in 1991 with his long-time friend and training partner Master Dan Haney. Prior to his entry into the field of law enforcement in 1996, he created TNT - Police Combatives.

During his decade of involvement in law enforcement as a police officer, Mr. Gajdostik was the combatives instructor for many area departments as well as his own agencies. He was certified as a police trainer for defensive tactics, and an array of less lethal weapons.

Mr. Gajdostik founded and developed TNT-Martial Arts in 2002 combining his law enforcement knowledge with his years of mixed martial arts training. In 2003 he began teaching martial arts as part of the North Plains Parks & Recreation program.

November 11, 2006 - TNT Martial Arts opened in Hillsboro with a dedicated core group of charter members. Mr.Gajdostik teaches full time at TNT, and is on the floor for every class.

Mr. Gajdostik continues his community efforts by assisting local schools, PTAs, churches, and community groups with fundraising; and is a member of two local Star Wars movie-accurate costuming groups that donate their time and appearances for charity. Mr. Gajdostik continues his martial arts training under several friends and mentors. He is also part of several martial art industry associations, and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of his students through the practice of martial arts.
